Rebooting, Shutting Down, and Deleting Containers
You can easily reboot, shut down, or delete containers.
- Rebooting a container stops and restarts it. Usually this only take a few minutes at most.
- Shutting down a container stops it from running, but leaves it as-is in your Webslice Console and on your server.
- Deleting a container permently removes it from your server and your Webslice Console.
Whichever option you want to take, start by opening the container’s main screen:
- In the Webslice Console, open Containers from the left-hand menu.
- Select the container you want to work with.
- Near the top of the screen you will see controls to Reboot, Shut Down, or Delete the container.
Whichever option you choose, you will be asked to confirm the action.
