Avoid usage charges with static caching on the Webslice Serverless CDN

There’s a way to display pages to visitors without triggering any usage costs.

With Webslice Serverless, static file caching doesn’t just make your site faster, it also makes your hosting cheaper.

Webslice Serverless makes it possible to speed up page load times by serving static files from our Content Delivery Network (CDN), and nowhere else.

We don’t pay, you don’t pay

Imagine you’re running an ecommerce store with hundreds of products. Any page, product page or otherwise, written out as HTML files can be cached and loaded by the CDN alone.

That’s because Webslice operates its own global CDN, which we’ve built in front of Webslice Serverless. If you configure the site for Cache All Static Files, static content will be served by the CDN and won’t actually invoke any serverless runtime costs.

And if we’re not paying any AWS bills, we won’t ask you to pay any extra Webslice bills.

Our global CDN is enabled by default for all Webslice Serverless websites. You don’t have to worry about paying for a monthly subscription or plan. We mean it when we say you only pay for what you use.

Configure your webpages to avoid costs

Maximizing static content is another smart way to take advantage of elastic hosting with Webslice Serverless. We’ve made the hard architectural decisions for you, so you can focus on building web applications.
