It's time to update WordPress. A new minor update, 6.5.2 is now available.
Because 6.5.1 was never released (there was reportedly "an issue with the initial package" ), this is the first minor update for WordPress 6.5.
As well as fixing two Core bugs and 12 Block Editor bugs, 6.5.2 contains a security update. This fixes a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability that affects the Avatar block type.
The sooner you update to 6.5.2, the sooner you'll have this new security in place. Log into WordPress and look under Updates.
