TLS Version
TLS (transport layer security) is a cryptographic protocol for end-to-end communications security over networks. It’s widely used for internet communications and online transactions, and it’s built into the Webslice Containers platform.
TLS Versions and Webslice Containers
TLS versions are set on each Webslice Containers server. To see, and change, a TLS version look in the server’s Settings screen.
When containers are SSL-enabled, HTTPS connections will automatically use your choice of TLS v1.1, v1.2 or v1.3.
We recommened either TLS 1.2 or TLS 1.3. These are safer and more reliable for delivering encrypted content over the Internet.
